Library's copy 2 has bound in a large number of additional, engraved and etched plates. Some plates are double-leaf, several are pasted, five are loosely inserted (after Charles Le Brun in v. 1, pt.1; after Francheschini in v.1, pt.2; after Lucas Van Leyden in v.1, pt. 2; after Poussin in v. 2., pt.1; after Raphael in v.2, pt.1; after Sebastiano Conca in v.2, pt.1; after Rubens in v.2, pt.1; after Waldmann in v.2, pt.2), a few are hand-colored, some are lithographed. Also included are several newspaper clippings, mostly pasted onto plates, some loosely inserted, and a manuscript letter written in ink. The plates are from various sources from the 15th to the middle of the 19th century, executed by various printers after paintings and portraits of the artists mentioned in the text. All plates are numbered by hand in pencil, some are annotated
